I’ll give you an example so I don’t come off like I parrot the right. In Louisiana there was a plan to have a control release of the river to allow sediment to go down the proper channels to allow build up and land to be built back up slowly. But the governor killed the bill and went the route of dredging and making barrier islands. By far the stupidest thing I have ever heard and is a short sighted plan that won’t help in the long run.
