It’s not just “more jobs = stock market falls”. Stock markets fell because traders worry the Fed will respond to inflation (from a strong job market) by either keeping rates the same or raising them, increasing borrowing costs and slowing overall business activity. Tech companies are also struggling, which is the main contributor behind slides in the tech-heavy s&p and standard DOW.
