What? The same thing happens in communist countries as well, it just gets covered up lol. Capitalism isn’t perfect but don’t try and pretend it’s entirely to blame on capitalism.

Both can be true. Also it’s just as much religion as it is capitalism. Capitalism basically hijacked Christianity and turned it into a sort of “American Christianity” that convinces its followers that the ideals of capitalism are actually the ideals of Christ, even though Christ was objectively a fairly hardcore Marxist. Not that religious Marxism would be any better. Blind faith is a bad idea in general.

Corruption in commie countries is also the result of power and money, the corruption of capitalistic ideology within non-capitalistic societies. Capitalizing on labor and power for your own gain IS capitalism, even if the party says theyre doing communism. Power corrupts institutions so deeply that i really dunno what to do other than an occasional coup
