if police were actually worth their salt don’t you think violent murders would be in jail? regardless of ICE? no? idk, just asking.

Might be the most unknowledgeable take I’ve seen in my life. Giving more money to the SS deportation and death squad doesn’t take away state’s money for state and local police. In fact, the Trump admin is testing using local cops as “immigration enforcement” in Tennessee! (Taking the first steps towards federalizing state and local police to carry out the whims of the executive)

Except they literally spent less money on police. That is the definition of defunding… allocating less budget. I’m not saying police money went to ICE, I’m saying the budget allocated more for ICE & less for police.
