It’s like when my old pre-med roommate, who was a Republican but not very engaged with politics and I would talk, and he was actually pretty liberal about most things. He was chill with the gays, he didn’t like war, he smoked weed and wanted it legalized, pro-choice, etc. It gets to a point where it’s just infuriating to see someone who clearly does not align with Republicans keep voting Republican because “it’s what I’ve always done” or “well my dad votes Republican”
