I grew with the original movies and this show doesn’t look interesting at all, it’s reliving the key moments. Its like the Disney live action remakes, if you wanna keep paying to watch the same work get redone over and over again go for it, but I feel like ultimately you’re hurting yourself and the film/tv industry but not pushing for new work. What stops Warner Brothers from making another remake of the movies in 10 years, nothing except fans and I don’t want to support the continuation of slop

I think they’re obviously gonna take more from the books. Granted black snape isn’t the most book accurate thing on the planet but who knows. We’ll see when it comes out

But there isn’t much from the books that wasn’t already adapted, whole show just to add a little bit marauders and triwizard cup lore doesn’t feel worth it. At the very least ask for new stories from this world, Fantastic Beasts wasn’t amazing but at least it was something new. Bummed that they’re just rebooting instead of finishing the story or branching off
