No dude, I asked who she was and what happened to better understand what you’re trying to say since you compared her to the recent dude who was shot by ICE agents - you said this lady was a nurse. It’s quite tragic that both she and Pretti lost their lives especially when our healthcare system NEEDS more hard-working people. I didn’t know who she was and was genuinely asking you a question. If you think people wanting to understand what you’re saying is rage bait, that’s quite problematic

A young woman murdered by an illegal immigrant. She gets brought up a lot as political fuel for the right, even though they don’t care when it’s American citizens doing that and worse daily. It’s a very sad case. Luckily her perpetrator got life in prison. They still bring her up to justify ICE killing people without trial.

Well then the real problem here is whatever media you choose to engage with didn’t think her murder was important enough to mention, which is the definition of propaganda. It’s honestly hilarious that you’re trying to give us a lecture on accountability meanwhile you’re blaming Joe Biden (who hasn’t been president in over a year) for immigration officers shooting a US citizen like 1000+ miles away from the Mexico border

upvote 21 downvote

They’re not “less preventable”. We have the highest rate of murder per capita in wealthy, developed nations. It’s not less preventable in the slightest. Your view would require assuming every immigrant has committed murder. If you want to blame a demographic, then look at how men disproportionately murder. Same logic, but I’m sure one sounds dumb to you and the other doesn’t.

upvote 2 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #4 2w

I don’t know how more clear I can possibly be. I blame the ICE agents and partially Trump for what happened yesterday. I also blame Biden and democrats for causing this crisis that resulted in ICE being sent it. I don’t like Trump. And there is more than enough blame to go around

Also, there are laws in place saying murderers shouldn’t be anywhere, as murder is already illegal. Thats a massive flaw in your logic. “It’s less preventable because it’s not allowed for them to be here” Girl. Murder is not allowed. Period.

The problem is that you still abide by a fear-mongered worldview, and not about who you’d support. The problem is that Laken Riley got justice, but she’s being brought up and exploited to justify the killings of others. Perhaps that’s not what you’re intentionally doing, but that’s what your actions imply by bringing her up at a time when more and more citizens are being murdered with HER as the excuse. I’m certain she’d be disappointed in what her legacy has become.

Okay dude the point I want to get across here is that murders like this one are intentionally propagandized. Immigrants are less likely to commit crimes than citizens are. But when murders like this occurs, the right blows them up to give the false impression that immigrants are disproportionately dangerous. It’s like if I kept repeating a list of bald people who committed murders. By doing that it falsely makes it look like bald people are dangerous.
