Well, there’s whiteness which is a sociological idea separate from white as a racial category. Somebody can identify with or strive towards their own idea of whiteness without being white themselves. There’s also political ideologies, like colonialism, that lead people towards a white supremacist frame of mind. Like there was a president of the Dominican Republic who wanted to sell his country to a European power.
