I haven’t seen Jill Stein visit a single ICE detention facility, provide immigrants with any legal resources, or protest at any immigration raids. Also, she didn’t even think Israel should be dismantled. She’s worse than a liberal.

Can’t we just say that both Trump and Harris sucked on Gaza? That seems to be the most intellectually honest perspective

As adults we need to go at least a step further than that. Who would be worse? How do we avoid the worse outcome when lives are at stake?

How could things in Gaza get worse because we have Trump and not Harris?

Well to be clear I’m not arguing that one is obviously far better and one is far worse, I’m just trying to say that even small differences make it worth carefully evaluating the two and making a decision just because of how much that decision scales to real world effects.

But to answer your question trump is a second term president who’s base also doesn’t care about the genocide in Gaza. They might care a bit from an isolationist standpoint but they don’t care about the genocide. Kamala on the other hand would be a first term president who would be harmed by failing in Gaza, at least to some degree.

They’re close though, I’ll definitely give you that. Lots of pro Palestinian people voted trump just because he was the possibility of change (however unlikely) after the Biden admin essentially doing nothing to stop it themselves. My only point is that whatever your final decision, inaction is wrong

We now have US military contractors shooting at Gazan children trying to get aid, and I’m not sure why more people don’t know about this anymore. That’s literally worse than handing bombs to Israel. We’re just killing them ourselves now

And that is different from the IDF shooting kids under Biden? You have not stated what Kamala Harris would do differently if she were president

Kamala Harris said she wouldn’t cut off arms transfers to Israel. She chose to stick with Biden’s genocidal Israel policy on the campaign

Yes. Because the IDF isn’t controlled by Biden 😭

There also wasn’t a 3 month aid pause under Biden either btw

Why would the aid pause not have happened if Harris was president?

You are telling me things that have happened under Trump but you aren’t telling me why these things wouldn’t have happened under Harris

Harris was VP. Did you see a 3 month aid pause? Did you see us sending 2000 lb bombs? Did you see us directly paying US citizens to shoot Gazan children? This was all predictable to anyone who actually paid attention to Trump’s actions towards Muslims and Palestine in his first term

Blinken signed off on arms transfers and famine was already happening in Gaza in 2024. Your argument amounts to Harris would have done genocide differently
