I’ve been lurking on these, but this guys only backing for his arguments is appealing to authority. Having a degree doesn’t make you right, doing research doesn’t make you right. Using valid logic to create cohesive assumptions and arguments makes you right. I can only assume it’s ragebait, if not this guy isn’t finishing his degree.

I highly recommend this dumbass to research the unification of Germany and Italy which were both fueled by nationalism. And also nationalist movements in Europe and South America coincided with liberal political movements as well. Nationalism ≠ Racism

every time i call him out for his spelling or call him a dumbass for thinking socialism and nationalism are the same, he goes “ad hominem + straw man fallacy” and it’s like dude i literally showed you the definitions but he keeps pulling “im a poli sci major ive done the research” and then says google definitions are unreliable cause “google works with the socialist trump admin” he’s fucking stupid

Research is just the gathering of evidence, it’s foundational to creating accurate claims about reality, but poorly formed minds can connect evidence into false realities. Hours and hours of research don’t guarantee correct conclusions. Flat Earthers are a perfect example of this phenomenon.
