Why are we upvoting this? Somewhere sometime cops have plenty friendly interactions with black men, obviously doesn’t change the fact that we have real systemic issues with law enforcement

Any stats or sources to back up your claim that law enforcement is racist?

I usually like to send sources when I can but I’m busy and this is an extraordinarily easy one. Spend 30 seconds looking up disparities in conviction rates, thays a good place to start

They kill far more white people than black people. This isn’t a race thing.

Well Id like to see the specific sources that you look at. If it’s extraordinarily easy to find, I’m sure you’d have no trouble, even if you’re busy, providing one. 👍

go to google.com and type it in, and you'll find a plethora. you're grown, you're capable of doing things yourself

If you’re not willing to back up your own arguments, then no one is going to take your arguments seriously. It is the responsibility of the claim maker to use evidence to support their claims. Debate 101

Completely agree, here’s my source. It’s from an internal audit which is how you know it’s bad, our own government acknowledges it

Ah. I’ve seen this one before. I think the misunderstanding that a lot of people have is that the differences in sentencing had other factors like previous criminal history that wasn’t taken into account. I appreciate the source and I’ll look into it more when I have time just to make sure I’m right about that.

No, there is no misunderstanding there. This isn’t some base level comparison of arrest or conviction numbers, it’s a comprehensive study that adjusts for other factors
