He’s a convicted felon, the only thing he is allowed to shoot is photographs. I hope my phone will save me if someone decides they want to shoot me. I cannot afford private security so i guess I’ll just hope for the best. If only there was an amendment in the bill of rights that enabled people to defend themselves. I wonder what we would call it?
Can you articulate a more clear sentence? Most people don’t have private security. And police response by definition is after the fact unless someone is there at the same place at the same time. This is more realistic in busy metropolitan areas with a higher budget. For most people in most places across the country they can be there in 5-10 minutes best case scenario and in more remote places the response is slower.
The states must refocus on enforcing the laws that already exist & stop blatantly ignoring the Supreme Court rulings for example heller 2008 & bruin 2022. The atf needs to stop prosecuting legal gun owners & banning standard capacity magazines a standard handgun holds 17-20 rounds. Magazine capacity bans are unconstitutional. And local police departments shouldn’t be denying law abiding citizens their concealed carry permits just because they don’t believe they should have the right to carry.
