yeah I think the real answer is it’s a mixture of both her policy not resonating with some of the more progressive members of the Texas democratic base but also how hard it is to market a confrontational black woman to a state of mostly white and Hispanic voters She’s a house rep so she only had to win Dallas, which is a much more diverse area than Texas as a whole unfortunately
