No like genuinely. If this opens up the *option* for certain people to *choose* to take it, that is great. But their informed consent is CRITICAL. I… don’t have high hopes for that from this administration

I am also of the opinion that there’s no way autism, as a spectrum, has a singular defined cause that can be cured so I’m HIGHLY skeptical but “if” is a powerful word

also autism isnt inherently a bad thing. people have demonized it too much. plus this country puts too much value on being expressive and outgoing all the time. it gets exhausting

Exactly. I don’t even think there’s one specific gene or pathway they could pinpoint to causing autism

Okay yeah this is actual BS their study groups are 20 participants at max this is barely a fucking study and they themselves said that it’s not a cure barely just that is may be possible for some autism to be helped with this drug in the far far distant future and yall took it and said “look I got you” STFU
