I think you missed the key words there, where he said “train them.” If you have a shortage of workers for a position, incentivize it. Pay for their training, offer them on the job experience to build their resume. Like yeah it takes time, that doesn’t mean he’s wrong. Nobody’s equating being a mechanic to a minimum wage fast food job except you dawg. The suggestion is literally to hire and train them so they can put in the work and become skilled at it lmao
