I think you’d be hard pressed to find any leftist who defends Obama as a Saint, he was a mainstream democrat and enacting moderate/right policy is what they do. Still, calling for legal accountability is a far cry from creating an anti immigrant gestappo task force

He still had the anti immigrant task force lol he deported more people than Trump. It was just done in a way that wasn’t blown up all over the place

I believe the vast majority of those people were deported from the border and/or apprehended almost immediately after crossing as opposed to being hunted down in their neighborhoods after living here for years. Again I don’t condone either, but I think it’s clear that the former is much more focused on preventing illegal entry while the latter is focused on cruelty and scapegoating

Yes. The Obama deporter and chief thing is kind of a misnomer. He just turned lots of people away. Which is bad still imo, but WAAAAAAAY better than just kidnapping and torturing any nonwhite people you see
