I hate how people crying about their country being criticized for committing genocide have almost completely desensitized people to what actual antisemitism is, and have actually pushed antisemitism further.

What I mean is that I can’t tell if when somebody says “I just saw something antisemitic” it’s an actual attack against Jewish people or if it’s a complaint that somebody criticized Israel. I know what actual antisemitism is. But nowadays many folks think that saying “Israel is mean” is like telling a Jewish family to time travel to the 40’s, which simply isn’t true.
