American adoption is literally rooted in human trafficking but ppl still view adoption in a white savior manner, it’s insane. Yes let’s separate poor families and sell their kids to rich ppl instead of providing assistance to families in need, how progressive of you

The problem here is being like “we adopted a brown kid so we can’t be racist.” That is the whole extent of the issue. Adoption is great treating an adopted child like a trophy is not acceptable
