The “stop ai generated nudes” bill doesn’t actually put anything in place to stop ai generated nudes being made, just a 500k penalty to the company hosting or advertising the website/service for that use. It would still be possible for someone with their own tools to make the images, or for software that’s hosted outside of jurisdiction to do so

Can you possibly perceive any idea of why a company who knowingly releases a “make a nude of whoever you want” button to the public should be penalized?
