I’ve been leaning pretty left lately, but this is a terrible idea unless he undemocratically holds onto power

Did a study on this topic as well. The amount of conservatives per military unit/job spikes based on the amount of time behind a gun. So machine gunners, long range marksmen, all your special forces and special operations units, etc, overwhelmingly conservative. The military as a whole has both, but for some reason proximity2gun/time is the best predictor of someone’s political alignment.
