Yeah, but I’m also kinda disappointed by the precedent the artist is setting. It collapses nature and nurture which turns accountability into determinism. As artists we are responsible for creating the world and to me this is kinda the opposite of that. I care much more about the relational aspect of art than just how it looks. I’m tryna see the Studio Ghibli type art that really illuminates human accountability. That’s the stuff that feeds my soul.
