I've never understood this one way view on the legality of military orders, "oh bro the jag spun it as legal so it must be legal", and then you follow it. But if it's later determined it was an illegal order, who is held accountable? Nobody... Its only ethical for the hammer to swing the other way and have an external check on the actions of those involved in giving those orders that were determined to be illegal

It isn’t illegal. He has the right to enforce federal law. He isn’t deploying the military on Americans. That’s illegal. He’s deploying them for use against illegal immigrants. Which he can do.
