So another report that’s getting buried,,, the DNC is refusing to release their report on why they lost in 2024 that the new chair said was so so important My guess? The report concludes they should’ve moved left but the DNC and donors don’t want that 🤡

My conspiracy right now is that the corpos paid the DNC to cancel the report because Trump has been treating them so well

“Please god we can’t find out it was because of Israel, holy shit don’t let it be because of Israel” - DNC

It doesn’t really matter ultimately. Right now all the democrats need is a leader. There’s no one right now. They should already be pushing out a possible candidate and having a strong push for policies and leadership.

it’s because there’s no need. Jill Stein cost Harris the election, obviously

Y’all are the dumbest people on earth if you think their problem was not being left enough.

I mean, sure. Putting out policies and taking stances that appeal to voters is also super important

Ignoring what appeals to voters and just going with what donors and the establishment wants is akin to sticking ones head in the sand. With that sort of mismatch between the party and the electorate, expecting that to be a winning strategy is a bit foolish.

I wouldn’t be surprised is there’s backdoor stuff with the GOP. The state of politics in this country is an abysmal joke

When surveying undecided voters in Oct ‘24 right before the election they literally would mark people who said Gaza as “no specific reason was given”. Just addicted to losing

People say the Dems ignoring their constituents & moving further right cost them and the crazy thing is the lesson the Dems will probably take is they need to ignore their constituents even more & move even more right 😔

And it’s so infuriating. It’s moral failure. These politicians are not stupid people. They are conniving well educated people and very well know the potential consequences for their actions

I’m pretty sure if the report contained positive things about why they lost, or that they should have leaned harder into the center, brought in more old guard republicans, been more pro Israel, been more hawkish over geopolitical things, or promoted tax cuts, they’d be parading the report all around lol.

They’re not releasing it because Harris was a lot of the problem and they might have to run her again

You think swing voters disliked Harris for not being extreme enough? You think people voted for Trump, or were Biden voters that didn’t show up for her, because she wasn’t further left? Seriously? This is why you lost.

I think she was unappealing on many fronts. And yeah a lot of people who support Trump simply want a better economy and they have seen what neoliberals have done to this country and don’t want any more of it. They’re at least that aware.

Left wing populism is a thing and it’s growing extremely popular. Setting aside cultural issues and focusing on economics and making the economy work for the working class is extremely popular hence why people like Claudia Sheinbaum enjoy the highest approval ratings in the world.

That’s kinda what built this country from the 1930s-1960s. Real Americana.

Biden was historically unpopular & people hated the economy under him. She said that she would do nothing different than Biden. So that played a huge role. She Liz Chaney someone the left & right hated. She was pro Israel & pro war things that people hate.
