Ignoring what appeals to voters and just going with what donors and the establishment wants is akin to sticking ones head in the sand. With that sort of mismatch between the party and the electorate, expecting that to be a winning strategy is a bit foolish.

I’m pretty sure if the report contained positive things about why they lost, or that they should have leaned harder into the center, brought in more old guard republicans, been more pro Israel, been more hawkish over geopolitical things, or promoted tax cuts, they’d be parading the report all around lol.

I think she was unappealing on many fronts. And yeah a lot of people who support Trump simply want a better economy and they have seen what neoliberals have done to this country and don’t want any more of it. They’re at least that aware.

Biden was historically unpopular & people hated the economy under him. She said that she would do nothing different than Biden. So that played a huge role. She Liz Chaney someone the left & right hated. She was pro Israel & pro war things that people hate.
