 The only fucking people happy about a “cure” for autism probs don’t have autism also many people with “low-functioning” (bad label) autism have comorbid disorders we just don’t actually know there is so much debate in psychology abt it not a valid argue

i’ve also often said that even if there was a cure it doesn’t change the fact that i grew up autistic, even if you take out the mechanism the socialization, coping strategies, and lived experiences are still there

I’m just kinda here yknow? If my mom wanted a cure she wouldn’t have raised me the way she did, she would have let my dad raise me. By no means did I grow up in an appropriately stimulating environment, but I still grew up loved. But thats all we need. To be loved is to not have anyone feel like you need to be cured. I just don’t know why they hate us so much
