Look I’m all for disrespecting the pope when it’s warranted, but some Catholics seem to not realize that they are the one group of people who aren’t allowed to do that. It’s also a wild time when republicans have me on the side of the Catholic Church.

Exactly! As someone who has Catholic family members, but is not a Catholic, I can acknowledge he’s human & infallible. But my Catholic father is quite literally never to say anything like that. The Pope is the infallible foundation of Catholic faith.
