I remember the story about the girl who was paralyzed but refused to give up her passion for horseback riding and they made adjustments for her and she was able to ride again. One simply needs to want it bad enough

My friend was a ski racer, lost his entire leg to cancer, and instead of quitting skiing he learned to use a sit-ski.
