Almost nobody needs a gun, we’d all be happier and healthier without them. The 2nd amendment was made for militias and muskets, not assault rifles and mass shootings

Obviously but special interest groups and PACs have lobbied to keep us a barbaric society where people shoot each other on the street and someone lays there in their own pool of blood sometimes in their own house.

Yeah I mean the NRA wants to sell guns and they don’t care that they are used for suicides and murders about 10 times as often as they’re ever used to defend oneself. It’s incredibly rare to successfully use a gun to defend yourself from someone with a gun.
