i remember when i was younger i used to want to get on section 8 so bad bc of how cheap my mom’s rent used to be, but now that im older and in college i want to buy property and become a landlady myself for passive income while also having a career 💕

A wise decision. But keep in mind cash flow as landlord is really slow. And if you have bad tenants it can be costly

ik i love my mom to death but honestly she was a stereotypical section 8 user 😭 windows broken, holes in the walls, my cousin lived off and on with us, smoke stains, etc. when we moved out it was trashed bc all she took was the big furniture and left literally everything else. kinda felt bad for our landlord bc he was honestly a nice man and let a lot of things slide with her.
