It has its uses when used responsibly and we need to take advantage of it for critical fields like research. While also investing money into more efficient compute rather than plopping data centers everywhere. My view is that it should not have a personality and should not be able to create art or influence culture or society. It should be revolutionary like when coding was first developed

Exactly. But uninformed people don’t make that distinction. Most of the features under the Apple Intelligence umbrella actually occur on-device and not in a data center

Apple intelligence also monitors FaceTime calls and your messages and sends that information to Apple. A friend of mine was telling her friend about some new fucked shit Israel was up to and her friend got a notification saying that there’s sensitive topics being discussed

That’s impossible. They’re end-to-end encrypted, so Apple doesn’t see anything. That’s very likely not what the warning said, either. FaceTime’s sensitive content warning is for nudity. Were they not wearing a shirt? Eating a hot dog or banana? This warning can be turned off anyway
