Almost like supporting a government that cluster bombs everyone around you (which most Israelis do) has consequences. Also conscription is mandatory so there aren’t that many civilians

Yes, they do. They can go to prison for four months rather than participate in multiple years of military service.

Maybe the government should have thought about the welfare of their kids before bombing kids in other countries 🤯 if Israel is the only democracy out there, then this represents the will of the people. Can’t have it both ways

I’m not saying Israeli kids deserved to get cluster bombed, I’m just saying you can’t cluster bomb other countries and expect to not get cluster bombed back.

cluster bombs beget cluster bombs. this is not a comment on the ethics of cluster bombs (which are bad) but a recognition of the fact that they (the IDF) set a precedent of using cluster munitions on civilians (still wrong if they weren't civilians imo). now the gloves are off and every other person involved is a war criminal. sad and unfortunate but it was foreseeable and preventable
