Learning about Netanyahu's upbringing explains a lot. He's essentially socialized as half American (think about his notable lack of accent when speaking English). He spent roughly half of his formative youth and early adulthood living in the US. Specifically during the ages of 6-8, 13-17, and 22-26. That alone should tell you a lot.
