They didn’t know if he had another one, and in the scuffle of 6-7 people I don’t think they all knew for sure if it was off him or not. Obviously it’s a tragedy that this happened, and the officers could have done better, but what did he expect picking fights with agents that were alr on edge from repeated attacks over the last 2 weeks.

That’s the problem. Not all of the officers knew if he had the gun still in the scuffle. The officers shouldn’t have shot him, but how tf would they all know 100%. I’m sure one of the em thought then saw the gun on him and acted accordingly. Once again, why is he actively starting a fight WITH A WEAPON on ice agents?

i mean firstly, it’s their job to know. you don’t get to just shoot a guy in the face a dozen times and say “oops”. especially not when he didn’t start a fight you did. the agents were literally just beating random bystanders like a gang. he tried to help a woman they were assaulting in the street and so they attacked and murdered him.

Brother we’re living in a “Papers, Please” police state and they’re executing citizens for exercising their 1st and 2nd amendment rights to film agents of the state and carry a weapon, which again, he made no attempt to draw. They’re law enforcement, right? When they signed on the dotted line, they accepted the fact they might be hurt or even killed in the line of their duty, right? But the second someone has a gun and get scared, they off them. “My rights don’t end where your fear begins. Freedom is scary, deal with it.” Maybe ICE agents should get more than 50 days of training…
