Did u guys see that sweetie dad who stepped down from running for MN gov bc he didn’t want his daughters to grow up watching him aligned as what republican has become??? Kinda wish he didn’t bc if they’re gonna elect rep that’s the kind of guy you want

that was my thought. like wait u have a conscience? sir we NEED you. we can disagree on certain things like taxes or wtv but we DESPERATELY need to bring back an educated respectable republican party. im not even republican but thats the character of a man worth debating and coming to compromises with imo.

I agree that we need people like him in our politics but I’m still ecstatic that he left the Republican Party. It’s just the party of fascism at this point, and even if he is not a true believer so to speak running as a Republican would be embracing that fascism. It would be great to see former Republicans like him coming together to challenge the party on their own platform!

i think honestly…theyd be right at home in the democratic party tbh. bc a lot of our reps and senators drgaf anyways, they’re centrists at best. that might be where he belongs😭
