Kind of insane the left is defending the policies that let Laken Riley’s killer into the country in the first place

The thing is the immigrant that killed Laken Riley had a criminal record and if the Biden administration actually vetted them Laken Riley’s killer wouldn’t have been allowed back into the country

Per capita is a statistical manipulation tool. Show real numbers

so you’re saying the immigration system needs reform so that those who aren’t vetted don’t slip through the cracks… crazy that’s what the left has been advocating for…

Really because the last time the left was in charge the democrats just let 20 million immigrants over the border with no vetting

omfg you people are insufferable. instead of focusing on a solution you just want to play the blame game. Laken Riley’s killer was arrested and brought to justice. now, do you want to try and prevent that from happening again by reforming the system or do you just want to point fingers and blame entire communities for the actions of one person?

Well the solution is going on right now. Ice is deporting all the criminals who shouldn’t have been in the country in the first place

And the border is the most secure it’s ever been

the “criminals” in question literally commit less crime than us citizens. the vast majority of deportations are people without criminal records. how does deporting people without criminal records help us “keep out violent criminals”? you literally said yourself her killer was unvetted and had a criminal record, the solution isn’t to fix the system that let them in but rather to deport people who haven’t committed any crimes?

“20 million” source? Why does the number constantly change?

False - per capita is used to dilute / concentrate certain trends to craft a narrative - and no serious country opens its borders just because “their crime rate is lower”

You need to demonstrate what is being diluted or concentrated in order to show that’s the case here

Statisticians intentionally ignore the basis for “illegal immigrant” when determining what crimes are done - such as illegal entry and stealing American labor . This is a proven fact that every statistics agency has done to craft the narrative of “muh lower crime rates”. Also what they doing in that lower crime rate? Burning women on the train!

would you like to compare the U.S. Citizens highest crime rates and what they are doing in that high crime rate? i promise you it’s worse than “stealing labor” (as if you’re out there installing shingles and harvesting oranges). We could go case-for-case on crimes by U.S. Citizens vs. undocumented immigrants… and i promise i will have more heinous examples of miscarried justice than you would…

😭where is this 20 million number from?? There are 14 million undocumented immigrants in the US total

What is your point anyway? OP shared this to make the point that we shouldn’t just assume all undocumented immigrants are criminals. so are you arguing that we should assume that?? It sounds like you are saying we should assume all undocumented immigrants are like murdering people or something which is just wrong cause it dehumanizes people who did nothing wrong

Have you considered looking at the source to see how they classify “illegal”? Or do you want to keep spitballing?

They’re trying to dispute the methodology but it sounds like they didn’t even skim the paper 🤡
