I hate the way he words it but in some sense, I believe the Iron Dome prevents them from purposely using civilian casualties to justify increased mobilization. Besides that, no, we absolutely shouldn’t fund them (and tbh they should pay for the Iron Dome with their own money now, but we’re locked in an agreement until 2028, IIRC). That being said, I think it’s naive to expect the genocide to stop if we stop arming Israel (which seems to be what some in that thread are implying)
