Hamburger is American in origin Hamburg steak is German, but the modern hamburger with the bun etc is American especially with cheese / ketchup. Is very American

I see what you mean but hamburger is based on hamburg steak. Chicken tenders and nuggets weren’t inspired by other foods, they were developed by food scientists
