And like how is empire defined here? Because I could see Russia being relatively low if we were only counting under the Tsars but given the USA is included (with honestly an insane number like there’s some bs there) you GOTTA count the death tolls under the Soviets and under post-imperial China which would be very high. The numbers just don’t make sense all around. The fuckin empire of Japan whitewashing is what’s really frying me here tho 😭
