Because “parent’s rights” is and always will be code for the right to brainwash their children into believing the same hatred they do. At one point, they fought for the Parent’s right to make sure their kids were in white-only classrooms.

Raising children is a privilege, not a right. The government can and does remove that right in cases of abuse, neglect, etc. We can discuss where the line should be, but parents are absolutely not allowed to treat their children however they want.
