Conservatives really need to be thankful the majority of women, trans people, and immigrants want equality instead of vengeance

Women are not perceived as greater than men. This is indicated by child marriage, rape and abuse statistics, the fact that about a quarter of the government is female (instead of half) and the still existing wage gap.

Like what exactly? There’s nothing a trans person can do that I can’t within reason? If you’re confused about your sexuality, you shouldn’t be in the military. If you’re confused about your sexuality you shouldn’t be able to adopt children. Someone with a mental illness shouldn’t be put in positions like that, it’s unsafe for them and those around them.

So by that logic do you think people with clinical depression shouldn’t be allowed to adopt?

upvote 1 downvote

Very much so? If someone is depressed and not in a right state of mind then adopting a child should very much be restricted? Not only do they have a risk at hurting themselves, but it could transfer over to the kid? What’s the argument you’re trying to make here??

🛁
Anonymous replying to -> OP 1w

Not at all. Under the law (of the us sorcfically) they aren’t. Socially, I would agree. Not everyone is going to agree with someone changing their sex, it’s not natural… Women aren’t restricted with anything, and abortion (which is murder) is not a right being restricted, it is quite literally the taking of another life. ILLEGAL immigrants are not equal under the law or socially, correct. (Hence the key word) however immigrants (legal ones) very much are,

Like you guys say, definitions change. The idea that you’re truly convinced that you’re something you’re not is on the same level as a mental illness. A majority of the time, this only comes about when children go through trauma, whether it be bullying, parental problems, etc. it is very much a disorder and needs to be treated as such.

I’m not saying the immigration system is perfect, but that doesn’t mean people can just waltz in here. There needs to be an actual benefit to having more people here. We need a physical border. Having people walk in on foot is only making the cartel business get worse, more trafficked people, more rapes by the cartel, more drugs.

I think we need social security. I think it’s actually needed by people that aren’t able to work. People who are disabled, veterans, and people who genuinely are down trodden and need a hand. It should help those people. It should NOT help illegals, and it shouldn’t help people who are milking the system like families who have been on snap for generations.

There are benefits to having more people here. Immigrants tend to be more willing to do hard labor, contribute to the economy, and also add to our culture Additionally a wall won’t do shit because most people here illegally are here because they overstayed their visas. Not because they hopped the fence

Social security can’t be given to illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants pay around 90billion total in taxes. Taxes that go to social programs only citizens qualify for. Get rid of them, you lose 90 billion dollars that goes to helping americans. You also lose 5% of ALL workers specifically those who work in construction, agriculture, and hospitality. You want farms to suffer due to lack of employment?

They don’t add to our culture. They don’t bring culture here that we don’t already have. All they do is migrate here, make their own cloistered areas, they don’t learn the language, and they don’t assimilate. You need to be an American to live here.

You don’t think that these people are stealing identities? Doing whatever they can to get those benefits? There are politicians fighting for them to get more benefits. Obviously illegal immigrants are getting benefits. Why would they come here if they didn’t? There’s an incentive to come here. Great. Make two higher tax brackets and get that money back. They pay sales tax. It ain’t enough. Yes. Farms are gonna suffer bc they’re paying illegal immigrants so low wages bc they’re off the books.

Losing 90 billion dollars all at once is bad. Especially when it comes from a group that as a majority, doesn’t get access to things that require a social security number.

Anonymous replying to -> #2 1w

Again, doesn’t matter. It is a crime. A federal crime. You are advocating for federal crime. I can’t prove identity fraud. I came up with a solution on how they could possibly be getting benefits. What can be proven is that we lose billions of dollars to them every year. So losing 90 billion to get rid of all of them is an investment. You’re basically saying “no, I don’t believe illegal immigrants get benefits, even though we lose 150-450 billion dollars to them annually.” All other countries

I don’t know how they get benefits. I suggested one way they could. I don’t need to prove they do it through identity fraud, I just need to prove that America loses money to them every year. Like I said 150-450 billion every year. Yes, I wanted him to deport all illegals. I think they need to make it harder. Impossible. No one can get in without us knowing. Pick up the pace on deporting them too.
