No one is normalizing STD’s. It’s normalizing not having such a huge stigma against them and instead encouraging and educating about treatment and prevention.

Why should we be censoring information about STI’s? It allows us to know what they are, the signs of them, and how to prevent/get treated.

"we should have a stigma against them" so theyre diseases... people dont want to be sick. we should have people aware of what they are and how theyre contracted and how to prevent contracting them so people dont get sick. because... people dont know... because its stigmatized

"people will brush stds off" yea i got ebola once but because it was stigmatized i didnt blow it off. but then another time i got zika virus and didnt care because it wasnt stigmatized and now i have kids that have awful birth defects. thank god for stigmatization! this is so important!
