The US is the furthest right country in the developed world; even the democrats would be considered right wing in many European countries. Therefore it stands to reason that any American conservative is a right wing extremist on a global scale.

Is there a word for that fallacy? All I’ve come up with is hasty generalization, but that doesn’t seem right.
