Both of these statements extrapolate SO FAR and contribute to the toxic dichotomy in the US. Someone can vote liberal without supporting gender affirming care for 10 yr olds and someone can vote republican while supporting abortion during the first trimester.

There’s a huge difference between republicans and MAGA. If you want MAGA to be taken out of office then you genuinely have to vote in republicans with a spine. Like Thomas Massie

The thing is, the Republican Party stands on a lot of firm political beliefs. MAGA are the extremists. MAGA has turned plenty of republicans anti MAGA. So, it’s actually going to be a lot easier to get people to pick republican candidates that fit their political agenda, that aren’t apart of the billionaire agenda, than it would be to completely change their views and make them vote democrat.
