You can be anti American imperialism and not dckride Eastern oppressive regimes but it seems like a lot of American ‘leftists’ have a problem with that including him. Also he brushes off crimes committed by turkey against Kurdish minorities which is very telling of his politics

Can you provide me a full clip of him saying the Kurds are spiritual Israeli & defending the Turkish government? As for China he's openly talked about their treatment of the Uyghur Muslims & how he doesn't like the general repressive elementsof the government & says that he wants America to adopt the good things like high speed rail & complains that it's instead adopted the bad things like mass mass surveillance & limiting freedom of speech.
