Completely out of touch perspective that pisses me tf off, but in some ways there’s truth to that. The issue is that the progress is not worth the pain on a larger scale, and this fucker does not seem to care. However, what if there’s pain that arises from a system where basic needs are universally met? What if the system is fundamentally unable to sustain itself?

If new systems get put in place that make it so that power gets consolidated bureaucratically instead of economically, that is much harder to audit, and I believe more people would end up suffering.

Maybe decentralized somehow infallible DAO’s or AI could make this possible but otherwise I don’t see it working the way we want it to

At the end of the day we would still have to trust the institutions in place to set this up, and if we’re doing that, we’re already fucked.
