Should be an easy win for Dems in 2028, but I’m sure they’ll find a way to fuck it up.

They’ve yet to put forth a face or show any real candidate, so yeah, probably

i feel like they’re introducing candidates one by one to see our responses to them. i haven’t heard much about newsom lately so i guess they’re ditching him. they tried walz too but not anymore for obvious reasons. pritzker also failed. they keep pushing establishment dems instead of actual changemakers. obama won in a landslide and he was just a state senator.

Eh, there are definitely a few dems eyeballing the possibility, like Gavin Newsom. I’m gonna be so fucking pissed if the party just hems and haws and then goes “surprise here’s your candidate” without even easing them in. It’ll be 2024 all over again

True, but they should’ve started by now. They’ve got no leadership right now. They need someone taking a hardline stance against what’s going on and provides opportunities for change. Right now there’s nothing.

There are a few people trying to be hardliners/outsooken, but unfortunately the establishment dems are unwilling to elevate them and give them a larger platform. People like Schumer, Jeffries and Nancy Pelosi are all (in my opinion) partially to blame for the feet-dragging
