We’ve spent the last seven months softening their territory for a ground invasion, things are starting now and Trump is waiting on politically convenient aggression from Iran that’s never going to happen. Happens when the president is a blackmailed pedophile that will do whatever Israel tells him to do. Either way the current hostilities have no way of stopping as long as Israel remains politically involved between the US and Iran, it really is just a matter of time at this point

It isn’t a matter of time. The US DoW knows of Irans size and capabilities, they know it’s not Iraq or even Afghanistan for that matter. Even with heavy air superiority and a massive land invasion with support from the Kurds it’s not a war that can be won as easily as it could in the 40s.

Makes perfect sense, he’s old and in poor health so use him to get the hard part over with and the next to maintain it

Oh I’m not arguing with you about how excruciatingly difficult it will be and how many lives will be lost, I’m just saying at the current rate a ground invasion is going to happen sooner or later because the war has already started and it’s not going to end peacefully

If we both understand the costs and how slim the chances of winning are, the DoW understands that far better. I promise you, you’re overthinking how this war plays out. You can’t just say “I’m dumb” for someone who thinks that it won’t happen when that is, as of now, more than likely the result.
