Most agencies don’t want to admit, through partnerships with the corporate surveillance state, they know where 99.9% of the civilian held AK/AR platforms are. They couldn’t cite the tech in court because if it gets struck down they lose the ability to utilize it, but it’s funny to see my conservative friends be like “I don’t want the govt knowing where my AR’s are!” And it’s like… just because you didn’t register them formally doesn’t mean they don’t know.
