My Catholic priest at my parish is loudly condemning ICE as sinful and evil in almost every sermon and calling on everyone to protect our immigrant brothers and sisters. I wonder if Pope Leo will end up declaring a crusade against MAGA soon.

My priest also called JD Vance out but not by name “and pray for those in this administration that claim to be Catholic and are seriously wronging our community, they know who they are.”

I don’t really care, I’m not catholic, so I don’t follow their teachings. I do respect the position of the pope though.
