My education has been the most valuable thing in my life, and it dragged me out of being a right winger. I grew up in a deep South state in a private Christian school where we were taught young earth creationism as well as other insane shit. Im about to graduate from Texas A&M, one of the most conservative schools in the country. Even with all that indoctrination from when I was a kid and going to a conservative college, my education overcame that programming.
