i mean it’s a tenuous example, and not legislation per se, but black people practically speaking have a much more limited ability to carry a gun and not be shot to death for it than white people, but the NRA doesn’t say a word about innocent people shot for having a firearm in their car when they’re black, and sure as shit doesn’t say anything if there wasn’t a gun

We recently saw an officer magdump a handcuffed suspect because an acorn hit the roof of their car, but you want to say that the disproportionate deaths of black men at the hands of police aren’t about race? get a grip man.
